Validation Configuration Wizard

Use the Validation Framework configuration wizard to quickly and easily create check rules.

Even unexperienced users can use the assistant to easily define validation checks for their area and even immediately use them.

Using the configuration assistant, you can create complex check rules within a few minutes. The direct access to Teamcenter objects and attributes is a practical support when creating your validation rules.

Whether user or administrator, all options are available via the interface. From the selection of the object types to the selection of the attributes and the definition of interlinked tests, the creation of check rules is also possible without a long training. Even complex dependencies can also be easily defined. The configuration of bill of material checks or the classification can be done without any deep knowledge of the Teamcenter data model.

Thanks to the wizard being embedded in the Teamcenter environment, all information from the data model is available. This means that even unexperienced users can use an assistant to define the validations for their area and even immediately use them.

Presentation: Good data quality is a key to successful digital transformation

Data quality has become one of the top topics for product development in all industries. The reason for this is the increasing digitization and requirements of Industry 4.0.
The more processes are digitized, the more important it is that all the necessary data is available on time. If, for example, information on the components for a product is incomplete, the production process may possibly be faltering or the end product may not meet the specifications. In order to increase the performance of the business processes, it is advisable to support the users to a large extent already when collecting the product data, e.g. through mandatory fields with automated checks.

In order to be able to adequately assess the company’s own data quality, the presentation will introduce Siemens PLM system Teamcenter capabilities to show ways in which product data can be easily checked and, if necessary, optimized.

Mendix offers simple options for integrating various data sources and is an ideal tool for supporting the entire digitization process.
However, the more digitized processes are, the more important it is that all required data is correct. If, for example, information on the components for a product is incomplete, the production process may stall or the end product may not meet the specifications. In order to ensure the performance of the business processes, automated tests at selected process points are recommended.

Different data sources and manual entries lead to partially incomplete or incorrect data, especially when using integrated application solutions.
In order to be able to adequately assess your own data quality, we provide you with the possibility of simply checking this data and, if necessary, optimizing it using the validation framework.

Completely digitized processes make it necessary that all required data from different sources such as Teamcenter or SAP are fully and correctly available.
Therefore, you can use our validation solution e.g. can also be used directly in your Mendix Microflows.
